Karachi: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) candidate Miftah Ismail on NA-249 in the by polls of the constituency which was held on April 29th has written a letter to Chief Election Commissioner (CEC)
Former finance minister Miftah Ismail has apprised the CEC that we didn’t receive results of more than 30 polling stations adding that we also have serious reservations on the attitudes of some of the presiding officers.
He said in his letter many forms of 45 were not signed while he demanded the CEC to recount all the votes of by-polls of NA-249.
Miftah Ismail said that Returning Officer is not ordering recount despite having thing margin in the votes of winner and runner up candidates adding that RO showing his clear prejudiced rejected our all the requests.
He apprised that the RO didn’t sign more than half of the form 45.
