Multan (June 14, 2017): Gastroenteritis continues to run amok here with another 160 patients brought to various government hospitals.
Seventy-two of the 160 patients brought to the hospital were admitted while the remaining 88 were provided the treatment and sent home.

Most of the patients were brought to the Children Hospital.
Multan has been in the grips of gastroenteritis. On May 31 at least 211 gastro patients were brought to various government hospitals of the city out of whom 92 patients were reported to be in critical condition.
Chickenpox has already gone berserk in Faisalabad. On the seventh of this mont 18 new patients were admitted in different hospitals of the city. At least 23 people died from the disease till June 7 and at least 13 patients were brought to the Allied Hospital and five admitted in the isolation war of District Headquarter hospital on June 7.
Total 283 patients were admitted in Allied Hospital and 215 in District Headquarter hospital till June 7. The isolation wards facilitated 498 patients.
