MULTAN: Bizarre scenes were witnessed across Multan city on Friday as whopping 262 patients were diagnosed with Gastrointestinal diseases within 24 hours.
Several patients were admitted in Children Complex, Shahbaz Sharif and Civil Hospital including 85 which were shifted to Nishter Hospital to attain abrupt medical care.
According to doctors, the disease outbreak has taken place due to the consumption of sub-standard drinks and fired items in such extreme hot weather.
