Multan (July 15, 2917): Incidents of suicides are on the rise in Southern Punjab especially in Multan as Nishter Hospital Multan received five cases of attempted suicide in a single day.
5 Attempted Cases Brought to suicidal
As per details, five persons were brought to the hospital on Friday in serious condition, who reportedly attempted to commit suicide. The cases were reported in Multan and adjoining areas.
In Shujabad, a teenager girl Hameera attempted to commit suicide while consuming poison (Kala Pathar).
One Farid, 19, a resident of Rehman Colony, also attempted to commit suicide by consuming some tablets.
In yet another incident, Kashif, 18, attempted to commit suicide while consuming some poisonous substance.
In Vihari, a woman, Saira, 27, also attempted suicide by consuming poison. In Muzaffargarh, 30-year old Rehman tried to commit suicide by consuming pesticides.
All the five persons were brought to Nishter Hospital Multan in serious condition. They are under treatment at the hospital.
