MULTAN: Airport Security Force (ASF) foiled an attempt to smuggle gold out of the country at Multan Airport arresting two women and recovering 14 kilogram gold and 37,000 riyals from their possession.
The women; identified as Halima Riaz, a resident of Lahore, and resident of Multan Sumaira were on their way to Dubai.
According to sources the arrested women have successfully smuggled gold to Dubai many times previously.
