MULTAN: Police and intelligence agencies on Sunday carried out search operation around major Imambargahs and conventional routes of Muharram processions in the city.
As many as 85 persons biometric confirmations were conducted during the operation.
According to the police spokesman, the purpose of the search operation is to safeguard Majalis and processions from enemies nefarious designs.
As per the spokesman, the search operation will continue until eradication of criminals.
