Multan (December 17, 2017): The lawyers continue staging protest and sit-in for the fourth day today against the shifting of the courts to New Judicial Complex. The lawyers reiterated resolve to continue staging the protest till the acceptance of their demands.
Vowing not to go to facilities-deprived New Judicial Complex building until the construction of lawyers chamber and facilities are provided.
Demanding shifting courts back to old premises the protesting lawyers had their breakfast comprising primarily of nan-channa guzzled down with steaming tea to ward off the cold. They chanted slogans in support of their demands saying that could not be submitted in submission by threats of arrest.
It may be mentioned here that the lawyers protest started on December 13 during which the lawyers went on a rampage breaking the window glasses, furniture, doors of the judges’ rooms, and other things at the newly built building.
Dozens of lawyers have been booked for vandalism while many of those named in the case registered have already courted arrest while many others have also been arrested.
