Jehlum: Once again, a murderous attack attempted on the famous and well-known religious scholar Engineer Muhammad Ali Mirza
According to Abbtakk News TV channel, the security guard of renowned religious scholar Engineer Muhammad Ali Mirza in Jhelum on Tuesday foiled an attempt on the cleric’s life.
Police said that culprit Ali Hassan who belongs to Gujarat, tried to enter the research academy building by hiding a sharp weapon in his clothes and pushed the guard.
Police said that religious scholar Engineer Mohammad Ali Mirza was inside the building at the time of the attack.
Police added that the accused later confessed that he had come to the building to kill the cleric.
A case has been registered in the city police station and the investigation of the incident has started.
