Islamabad: Minister for National Health Services Mustafa Kamal has emphasized the need for checking population growth rate.
Addressing an inauguration ceremony of anti-diarrhea program in Islamabad, the Minister said that the health system of the country is being made strenthened.
He said that the government has a priority making the health system strong adding a healthy citizen creates a healthy society.
He said that the antio diarrhea program is of very importance while he lauded the international organization cooperation of the international organizations.
Syed Mustafa Kamal said that it is our effort to treat minor diseases at the local level and decrease a burden on the major hospitals.
He urged that the family planning is a need of the hour as ever growing population also has a pressure on the country resources.
He highlighted the importance of ensuring adequate spacing between childbirths.
He also underscored the need to reduce the burden of disease through preventive measures.
