Islamabad: The Majlis Wahdat-e -Muslimeen (MWM) has announced a countrywide protest over banning road travelling for Arabeen for pilgrims going to Iran and Iraq.
Chief of the MWM Senator Allama Raja Nasir Abbass addressing a presser in Islamabad today said that we will not at all accept illegal, unconstitutional, immoral measure.
Allama Raja Nasir Abbass said that banning religious freedom is against the article 20 of the constitution .
The MWM Chief also said that the Religious affairs ministry should seek an apology over its statement regarding missing pilgrims.
He announced that we will hold peaceful protest and stage sit-in across the country from Gilgit to Karachi.
He criticised that no consultations were conducted with any stakeholder.
He apprised that the pilgrims had invested Rs 50 billion on tickets, hotels accommodations and visa expenditures.
