Karachi: The Majlis Wahdat-i-Muslimeen (MWM) has welcomed the clarification issued Karachi police chief Javed Alam Odho.
Allama Hassan Zafar Naqvi said that the sit-ins all across the country will continue till opening of road in district Kuram.
The cleric said that if the sit-ins were ended in Parachinar then sit-ins will also be ended in Karachi.
He urged the protesters to remain peaceful and open one sides of the roads for traffic.
Earlier, a spokesman of Karachi police said that the Police chief Javed Alam Odho statement regarding ending the sit-ins across the city till the dusk prayers is a misunderstanding.
The spokesman added that linking the said news to the sit-ins are baseless and misunderstanding.
The Police chief Javed Alam Odho statement was meant to manage the sit-in a manner that it will not hamper traffic flow on the roads.
