ISLAMABAD: Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Monday set a petition for arguments seeking disqualification of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) member National Assembly (NA) Aslam Khan from NA 254 Karachi.
According to details, the ECP two member commission headed by its member from Punjab Altaf Ibrahim Qureshi the petition demanding disqualification of the ruling party PTI MN from NA- 254 Karachi.
The PTI MNA Alam Khan, in today’s hearing, submitting written reply for the petition raised objection against the petition and insisted the ECP to dispose of the petition.
The ECP rejecting the PTI’s MNA insistence set the petition for arguments on November 5.
It is pertinent to mention here that Fakhar Ul Islam has filed petition against the PTI MNA while the PTI MNA, Aslam Khan has been alleged of proclaimed offender.
