Polling time in NA-63 and PP-232 for bi-elections has ended while counting of votes is underway. On the other hand PTI and PML-N candidates are contesting the election against each other on both the seats.
National Assembly seat of Punjab NA- 63 had lied vacant after death of the PML-N MNA Iqbal Mehdi. The constituency has 227, 757 registered voters of whom 198,400 are women. There is tough competition on a seat between PML-N candidate Nawabzada Matloob Mehdi and PTI’s Fawad Hussain Chaudhry.
Punjab Assembly seat PP-232 Burewala had vacated after PML-N’s MPA Yousuf Kasela declared disqualified while in today’s by-polls PTI’s Ayesha Jutt and PML-N’s Chuadhry Yousuf have nail biting competition.
