ISLAMABAD: National Assembly has passed condemning motion against Quetta tragedy during today’s session, while the motion expressed solidarity with people of Baluchistan, lawyers and media members and sympathies to martyr families.
Today’s session in National Assembly was chaired by Speaker Ayaz Sadiq, during which Federal Law Minister Zahid Hamid presented condemning motion against Quetta tragedy, while Assembly members paid tribute to martyred and injured in Quetta blast. On this eve, PPP protested over absence of Interior Minister Chaudhary Nisar in the House in connection with Quetta tragedy. PPP leader Naveed Qamar said that today Interior Minister and Prime Minister must be present in the House.
On this eve, PML-N member Assembly Tahira Aurangzeb also proposed to give a month salary of Assembly members for Quetta martyrs families, after which the session was adjourned till 3 tomorrow.
