ISLAMABAD: The National Assembly on Tuesday passed a resolution unanimously, condemning Indian occupation forces’ atrocities in Kashmir and Indian Foreign Minister statement declaring Kashmir as ‘inseparable part of India’ .
PPP’s Naveed Qamar tabled the resolution in the National Assembly condemning the Indian atrocities in Kashmir and its attitude. The resolution was passed unanimously . The resolution strongly condemned the Indian forces’ brutalities and atrocities in Held Kashmir and the statement of Indian Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj in UN General Assembly wherein she declared Kashmir as ‘inseparable part of India’.
It further stated that the comparison of Kashmir with Balochistan was deplorable. It states that Kashmir is a disputed territory while Balochistan is Pakistan’s internal matter.
The resolution further condemned the Indian Prime Minister statement regarding Indus Basin Treaty.
Regarding the treaty, Adviser to Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz told the house that as per the treaty no party can revoke it unilaterally, as World Bank was a guarantor and both the countries were bound to honor the treaty.
He said that a dossiers was being prepared on India’s interference in Balochistan, which will be sent to UN. He further said that through the dossier the RAW network would be exposed.
