Islamabad (April 25, 2018): The National Assembly Standing Committee on Interior approved an anti-terrorism (amendment) Bill 2018 today.
The 42nd meeting of the Standing Committee was chaired by Rana Shamim Ahmed Khan here at Parliament House. Under the new amendment, the country is bound to banned the organization which was banned by the United Nations.
Additional Interior Secretary briefed the committee on the Anti-Terrorism (amendment) Bill-2018. He suggested to add a section in the bill to comply with the international laws.
Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal was of the view that they have only one month to accomplish the agenda. He said that Pakistan will follow the UN by banning any organization or any individual.
