Islamabad (March 06, 2018): The NAB Rawalpindi on Tuesday arrested former Chairman Capital Development Authority (CDA) Islamabad Imtiaz Inayat Elahi over embezzlement charges.
The corruption watchdog also arrested former member finance Saeed Ahmed. Both the officers were arrested over wrongdoings in construction of a cultural complex in Islamabad.

The NAB had launched action against corrupt elements in bureaucracy and on February 21, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) arrested Lahore Development Authority (LDA) former director general Ahad Cheema in relation to the Ashiana Housing Scheme scandal.
The bureau has been conducting an inquiry against the officials of the Punjab Land Development Company (PLDC), Lahore Casa Developers, Lahore Development Authority and others, said a notification issued by NAB Lahore.
