Lahore: Chairman National Accountability Bureau (NAB) just (retd) Javed Iqbal on Tuesday said that the anti-corruption watch-dog has recovered whopping 487 billion rupees and submitted to national exchequer in the current regime which is a vital success of the institution.

The DG in his briefing prsented comaparative review of the recovery made by the NAB Lahore from 2107 to present in the leadership of the current NAB chief and from the NAB inception to 2016.
The briefing also highlighted the NAB direct and indirect recovery in the last four years, recovries made from 56 companies of Punjab, situation of the NAB references in the accountability courts and punnishment given to accused.
Talking at the occasion, the Chairman NAB said that the credible institutions of the country and the world have appreciated the splendid performance of the NAB adding that the NAB will continue to take initiative to end corruption in the country without any pressure.
