ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tahreek Insaaf’s Chairman faced additional challenges as NAB issued arrest warrants in the 190 million pound scandal
Chairman PTI’s difficulties increased as National Accountability Bureau (NAB) issued arrest warrant for Chairman PTI in the corruption case. Shahzad Akbar, Zia Al-Mustafa are among those who have been issued arrest warrants. The NAB has issued arrest warrants for corruption and abuse of power of the accused.
NAB directed Punjab government authority to comply with the arrest warrant of the accused. Chairman PTI is currently imprisoned in Adiala Jail on judicial remand Earlier, the PTI chief on Thursday filed a petition for post-arrest bail in the 190 million pound case.
The PTI chairman through his lawyers Latif Khosa, Intizar Panjutha and Ali Ijaz filed the bail application in the accountability court , In the petition, it is stated that the petitioner is a former prime minister and a well-known cricketer, his reputation is being damaged on political grounds
