Lahore (September 22, 2017): National Accountability Bureau posted notices at the entrabce of residence of ousted prime minister Nawaz Sharif in Jatiumra in Raiwind area near here.
The notices summons Nawaz Sharif to appear at Accountability Court Islamabad at 9 a.m. on September 26.
The notices pertains to Supreme Court’s order directing NAB to open cases against the Sharif family and initiate investigations against them while disposing off the Panamagate case.
NAB has written letter yesterday to Chief Commissioner Islamabad and provincial secretaries to take steps to halt sale and transfer of Sharif family’s assets and heir.
According to the details, NAB Lahore had written letter to Chief commissioner Islamabad, chief secretaries of all four provinces and directed to take proper measures to make sure to stop transfer and sale of heir of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, Hassan Nawaz, Hussain Nawaz and Maryam Nawaz.
NAB had also filed appeal against Lahore High Court decision to close NAB cases regarding Hudaibiya Paper Mills in Supreme Court the same day.
