NAB Sindh orders to freeze Bahria town 10,468 commercial plots

Karachi: The National Accountability Bureau ( NAB) Sindh ordered to freeze a total of 10,468 commercial plots owned by Bahria Town Karachi.

Director General (DG) NAB Sindh, Javeed Akbar has issued a letter in this regard.

The DG has ordered freezing 1000 commercial plots of the Bahria town immediately.

On the other hand the NAB has collected evidences of land grabbing on other lands besides allotted lands.

According to the NAB officials the probe revealed that Malik Riaz, Ahmed Ali Riyaz, Zain Malik, Shahid Qureshi, Faisal Qureshi, Muhammad Owais, Wasim Riffat and Waqas Riffat have been found involved in the corruption.

 

Malik Riaz and others have swallowed Malir Development Authority (MDA) 16000 acre land as well.

The MDA allotted the lands illegally, the NAB apprised.
