ISLAMABAD: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) will submit its progress report to the Supreme Court (SC) during the hearing on Monday (today).
Earlier on Sunday, the first progress report compiled by NAB Rawalpindi was received by the anti-corruption watchdog’s headquarters.
NAB Director General Naeem Mangi told in its report that the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) commenced scrutiny of 16 cases on merit while more evidences were being collected after summoning records from the concerned departments.
It is noteworthy to mention here that the top court had directed NAB to submit progress report on investigation after every 15 days. NAB chairman had formed a Joint Investigation Team (JIT) on January 22 that was headed by DG NAB Rawalpindi Naeem Mangi.
