Rawalpindi: Lieutenant General Nadeem Ahmed Anjum has been appointed Director General (DG) Inter-Service Intelligence (ISI).
As per the sources, Prime Minister Office issued the notification after Chief Of Army Staff Gen Qama Javeed Bajwa called on Prime Minister Imran Khan.
As per the notification new DG ISI will take his charge on November 20 while existing DG ISI will contine serve the agency until November 19 and assumes his new responsibility of Corps Commander Peshawar from November 20.
In PM and COAS meet up matters of professional issues discussed. While DG ISI after some time also joined the meet-up.
