Hania, known for being the most-followed actress on Instagram in Pakistan, has garnered a huge fan base including enthusiastic followers from neighbouring India, where her posts are met with admiration.
Hania Amir is expected to appear alongside the internationally acclaimed Indian actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh and actress Sonam Bajwa in an upcoming Punjabi film. However, this venture has raised eyebrows and may not be received positively by everyone, particularly Nadia Khan.
Expressing her concerns during the show, Nadia Khan criticized Hania’s decision to pursue a film career in India, claiming that she is “wasting her time” through public relations efforts. Khan strongly believes that Hania should redirect her talents toward projects in Pakistan, where she is genuinely appreciated, and where her loyal fan base resides.
Nadia emphasized the precarious situation Pakistani artists have faced in India in the past, warning that even prior to the release of Hania’s film, there are already calls for a ban on it.
She cited the example of actress Sajjal Ali, who returned to Pakistan after only one film in India, suggesting that Hania should consider the potential repercussions and not invest too much time in the Indian film industry.
