LAHORE: The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has revised its fee schedule for the renewal of Computerized National Identity Cards (CNIC) and Smart ID Cards for October 2025.
According to the latest guidelines, NADRA will now charge PKR 400 for standard CNIC renewal, PKR 1150 for urgent processing, and PKR 2150 for executive service during this month.
CNIC Renewal Processing Times and Charges:
- Standard: PKR 400, with a turnaround time of approximately 15 days.
- Urgent: PKR 1150, with a processing duration of around 12 days.
- Executive: PKR 2150, with expedited delivery within 6 days.
Smart ID Card Renewal Fees and Timelines:
NADRA also offers renewal of Smart ID Cards, categorized into three service levels:
- Normal: PKR 750, with a processing period of 31 days.
- Urgent: PKR 1500, with delivery in approximately 15 days.
- Executive: PKR 2500, with a rapid turnaround of just 9 days.
The updated fee structure provides citizens with greater flexibility, enabling them to select a service option that best fits their urgency and budget. Those who require swift processing can opt for the executive package, which ensures delivery within days.
Citizens are encouraged to choose their renewal service based on their specific needs and time constraints.
