KARACHI: The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has introduced a digital platform that enables residents to register vital events such as birth, death, marriage, and divorce online. Currently, this innovative service is available in six cities across Sindh.
Using NADRA’s Pak-ID mobile application, individuals can now conveniently complete their registration processes without visiting government offices. They simply need to upload the necessary documents through the app to obtain their certificates, which will be delivered directly to their homes.
In Sindh, the online registration service is operational in Karachi East, Shaheed Benazirabad, Larkana, Jamshoro, Tando Muhammad Khan, and Tando Allahyar. NADRA is actively working to expand this service to other regions of the province, with plans to make it accessible throughout Sindh soon.
In addition to vital event registration, NADRA has launched a vehicle verification feature in collaboration with the Sindh government. This system allows citizens to verify vehicle details securely via the Pak-ID app, facilitating smoother buying and selling transactions from the comfort of their homes.
After verifying the vehicle’s credentials through the app, users can complete the remaining registration steps at the relevant provincial offices. For further assistance or information, residents are encouraged to visit the official NADRA website or contact the helpline at 1777.
