KARACHI: In accordance with directives from Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) will host open court sessions on Thursday, August 29, 2025, to address public concerns and provide immediate assistance regarding identity documents.
In a social media statement, NADRA announced that two open court events will take place at prominent Karachi locations. The first session is scheduled at Mega Centre, SITE Industrial Area, Siemens Chowrangi Zone, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The second session will be held at Mega Center, Plot D 1-15, Block L, District Central, North Nazimabad Zone, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on the same day.
Residents are encouraged to attend the session nearest to their residence and are advised to bring relevant documents such as CNICs, family registration certificates, and other identity-related paperwork to facilitate resolution of their issues.
These open courts are part of NADRA’s initiative to improve service delivery, enhance transparency, and connect directly with the public.

NADRA is Pakistan’s official agency responsible for maintaining citizen identity records, including issuing CNICs, B-Forms, and Family Registration Certificates (FRCs).
To make services more accessible, NADRA offers the Pak ID mobile application, allowing users to apply for documents, upload necessary files, track application status, and make payments via their smartphones—an especially convenient option for overseas Pakistanis and those seeking contactless service.
Recently, NADRA upgraded its Pak-ID mobile app to include a new feature enabling users to check the status of their applications online. This innovation eliminates the need to visit NADRA centers for updates or document issuance, as all related services are now accessible digitally for CNICs, B-Forms, and FRCs.
