Imran Khan’s attorney, Naeem Panjotha, has stated that he met Imran Khan while he was in jail, and Imran Khan expressed his willingness to remain incarcerated for a thousand years. In addition, Imran Khan’s wife, Bushra Bibi, has submitted a statement to the Supreme Court. The affidavit highlights that Imran Khan’s health is deteriorating, and it appeals for his prompt release.
Chairman PTI Imran Khan’s legal representative and spokesperson for legal matters, Naeem Haider Panjotha, has conveyed that Imran Khan is prepared to remain imprisoned for a thousand years.
In a statement, Naeem Haider Panjotha remarked that Chairman of the PTI has been in custody for 22 days. If the Supreme Court’s decision for his imprisonment is proven incorrect, who will be accountable for the time he spent in confinement?
He emphasized that Imran Khan’s arrest was carried out based on a decision riddled with numerous legal errors, highlighting that the constitution does not permit the unlawful detention of any individual.
Former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s wife, Bushra Begum, has filed an affidavit in the Supreme Court, stating that there exist grave threats to Imran Khan’s life.
As per the affidavit, ‘Imran Khan’s health has been deteriorating during his confinement, leading to weight loss. The worsening health condition of a seventy-year-old individual poses a significant life-threatening concern.
According to Bushra Begum, “I have submitted an affidavit in which I mentioned that I managed to meet Imran Khan in Attock Jail on August 22nd despite challenges and delays. I urge the Supreme Court to promptly order Imran Khan’s release.”
