Naeem urges center, KP govt set aside their differences, concentrate on Province

Peshawar: The Jamat-e-Islami Chief Hafiz Naeem Ur Rehman has said that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are blanketed by intense unrest adding there is no government existed in 13 districts of the province.

Addressing media persons on occassion of meet the press at Peshawar Press club, the JI Chief said that incidents of Kurram are evidence of the government failure.

The JI Chief said that PECA act 2025 tantamount to banning the freedom of expression and attacking them.

The government gained such authority that whenever it wants get result of its choice.

He said that it is tragedy of our country that lifted any one and shut someone voice whenever necessary.

Hafiz Naeem Ur Rehman said that they will start a movement against no reduction in the electricity prices.

Naeem said that despite long cordoned and other measures but still convoy are being attacked.

He said that Chief Minister KP and Governor are heading separate directions adding that the federal and provincial governments needed to keep their differences set aside and concentrate on the province.

He said that there is no one who could talked on the matter of International Power Producers (IPPs).

He said that IMF directed the government to impose taxes on major feudal lords but they impose taxes on the poor.
