ISLAMABAD: Leader of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), Nafisa Shah has raised the issue of not brining Asif Ali Zardari and Khawaja Saad Rafique in the meeting of National Assembly (NA) standing committee on Information.
Nafisa Shah said that two members of the committee Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari and Khawaja Saad Rafique could not attend the meeting despite issuing productions orders.
She said that the absence of the members not only damaged the privilege of the members as well as the committee.
She said that the censorship in the democratic society is condemnable and she asked the Pakistan Electronic Media Authority (PEMRA) why it did off air Asif Ali Zardari interview.
