Naqvi approves construction of two additional underpasses in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has announced plans to build two new underpasses in Islamabad, with work on the Kashmir Chowk and Faisal Mosque underpasses scheduled to start next month.

Naqvi made the announcement during a meeting at the CDA Headquarters, where he reviewed the progress of existing and upcoming development initiatives across the city.

During the session, the minister expressed disappointment over the lack of an effective setup for the 1122 emergency services, emphasizing the need for prompt improvements. He instructed that efforts to enhance rescue operations be intensified to establish the Capital Emergency Services as a fully operational entity.
