ISLAMABAD: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar has pledged that no space will be given to terrorist elements to propagate their narrative or ideology.
Speaking at the Qaumi Paigham-e-Aman Committee conference held in Islamabad today, he underscored the nation’s collective determination to completely eliminate the scourge of terrorism.
He highlighted that the fight against terrorism will involve both kinetic and non-kinetic approaches.
Acknowledging the critical role of religious scholars in protecting the nation’s ideological foundations and fostering peace, the minister affirmed that the Qaumi Paigham-e-Aman Committee will conduct outreach efforts across various regions to promote Islam’s message of peace. He stressed that terrorists bear no connection to Islam, Pakistan, or humanity.
He also mentioned that the Paigham-e-Aman Committee is an inclusive entity, ensuring representation for minorities.
He reiterated the responsibility of safeguarding minority rights and expressed confidence that this empowered committee will play a pivotal role in dismantling the narratives espoused by terrorists.
