ISLAMABAD: The National Economic Council (NEC) is set to hold a high-level meeting today at 3:00 PM, with Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif presiding over the session. The gathering aims to deliberate on crucial economic matters affecting the country’s future trajectory.
Sources indicate that, the council is expected to approve key budget targets for the upcoming fiscal year. In addition, the meeting will include a comprehensive review of the National Development Plan, the Public Sector Development Program (PSDP), and the country’s macroeconomic objectives.
