Islamabad (March 14, 2018): The former prime minister Nawaz Sharif and head of JUI-F Maulana Fazalur Rehman have expressed confidence in each other during a meeting held in Islamabad on Wednesday.
A communiqué issued by PML-N stated that a relation of mutual respect and honour was existing between the Nawaz Sharif and Fazalur Rehman as both have the trustworthy partners.
“The meeting was held in conducive environment and both have the stance that the misinformation regarding their meeting have no reality,” declaration stated.

The two leaders discussed the situation in the aftermath of unexpected results in the chairman senate polls and the ongoing political situation in the country.
Earlier the JUI-F leader called on Nawaz Sharif after he returned from the accountability court proceedings.
According to the media reports, three Senators of the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam -Fazl (JUI-F) and four more lawmakers became reason for the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s humiliating defeat in the election for the Chairman and Deputy Chairman of the Upper House of the Parliament on Monday.
Sources told that probe into the PMLN’s defeat has revealed that Maulana Attaur Rehman, Senator Talha Mahmood and Senator Maulvi Faiz Muhammad ditched the PMLN in the election.
Only Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haidri of the JUI-F cast vote in favour of the candidates fielded by the ruling party.
During his conversation with the PMLN’s supreme leader, the maulana assured him that he would hold an inquiry into the matter and would share the results with him.

Earlier talking to media on Wednesday morning at accountability court, Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Wednesday rejected the notion of managing the next elections in 2018 likewise the Senate elections recently from some quarters and said that the world has progressed and now the situation was not the same as in the past.
To a query from a journalist regarding managing of elections through the interim government, Nawaz said that the interim government could not do anything which is above the lawHe asked as to what was the reason that those from PPP, Bani Gala and Karachi all bowed down before the Sanjrani of Balochistan.
