Nawaz Sharif Given Rousing Welcome on Arrival in Islamabad

Islamabad (August 5, 2017): Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was given a rousing welcome by Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz workers and supporters  when he reached Islamabad from Murree on Saturday.

A large number of PML-N workers and supporters accorded warm welcome to the former PM and threw rose petals on the motorcade when he reached Bara Kahu from Murree.

The charged PML-N workers chanted slogan in favour of the ousted prime minister.They raised slogan like ‘Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’ and ‘Long Live Nawaz Sharif’ and started kissing his car.Nawaz Sharif came out of his vehicle at Bara Kahu and waved to the PML-N workers and supporters.

Nawaz Sharif was accompanied by his family. His elder son Hussain Nawaz was driving his vehicle.

The ousted prime minister, who was living in Murree since his disqualification by the Supreme Court, will stay in Islamabad today and will be leaving for Lahore tomorrow through Motorway.

Nawaz will go Lahore on Sunday for the first time after his ouster on the Supreme Court orders in Panamagate case. Nawaz Sharif will leave Islamabad for Lahore through motorway.Lahore is power base of Sharifs and the PML-N is making preparation for a power show in its base on the arrival of the ousted PM.

The local chapter of the party is planning a big reception on the arrival of its leader and has formed various committees to make arrangements and mobilise workers in this respect, he adds.

The PML-N leaders are confident that Lahoreites will prove that Nawaz Sharif is the most popular leader of the country.
