Islamabad (August 9, 2017): Stringent security measures are being made for ousted prime minister Nawaz Sharif during the long journey in rally from federal capital Islamabad to provincial capital Lahore.
The rally would be passing through populated areas of Punjab where Nawaz Sharif would stop and address the workers, supporters, and sympathizers on his way to Lahore through the G T Road.

Federal Ministers and senior leaders of PMLN will be accompanying the ousted prime minister on the container specially prepared and equipped for Nawaz Sharif on his journey back home in Lahore.
The relevant government officials and the PMLN workers have finalized the security arrangements along the path of Nawaz’s longish journey. According to details Nawaz Sharif will be provided Box Security with commandos surrounding the specially equipped container carrying Nawaz Sharif.
The workers would be kept away from the container carrying Nawaz Sharif while the stretch of the roads from which container carrying Nawaz are already being sealed and policemen are deputed all along the stretch from Punjab House to Faizabad.
The rally will also be monitored from the air. Hidden cameras and cameras of Safe City Project will also be used to monitor the rally.
Meanwhile, a large number of charged PMLN workers has gathered outside the Punjab House here. Deputy Commissioner has withdrawn Section 144 which prohibits assembling of four or more people in Rawalpindi.
