Ahmed said that he was made to wait for five hours before his appearance for recording statement. He claimed that posture of some of the JIT members was threatening during the grilling.

He claimed that in contrast of the SC’s order, the JIT members threatened him and he was metered out.

He added that he was grilled for 12 long hours.   He alleged in his letter that he was forced to sign a pre-written statement.

The NBP president maintained he was questioned for more than 12 hours, adding that three interview sessions were held with him and he was made to wait for five hours before the first session.

The treatment towards him was contrary to the Supreme Court’s orders that direct the JIT members to treat the people they are investigating with respect, Ahmad stated in the letter.

Ahemd wrote that during the questioning he felt like a death row convict and he was treated like a culprit.

Saeed Ahmed has urged the Supreme Court to take notice of the attitude of the JIT members.
