Islamabad: A meeting of National Command and Operation Center chaired by Minister for Planning and Development Asad Umar in Islamabad today (Saturday) decided to ban all sort of processions whilst permitting Majalis under strict Covid SOPs on the occasion of Youm-e-Ali.
The decision was taken keeping in view the risk factor due to the ongoing surge in Covid-19 especially in major urban centers.
The forum emphasized the need to engage the religious scholars and community leaders at provincial and district levels for implementation of these decisions.
