KARACHI: The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has approved large solar projects for Karachi.
According to the spokesperson of the Sindh Ministry of Energy, NEPRA has approved two solar projects with a total capacity of 270 megawatts.
The spokesperson of the Sindh Ministry of Energy stated that a 120-megawatt solar project will be installed in Deh Halkanian, and a 150-megawatt solar project will be set up in Deh Meetha Ghar.
Sindh’s Provincial Minister of Energy mentioned that the 270-megawatt solar project will help in controlling load shedding in Karachi.
