Islamabad: Despite enormous opposition from Karachiites, National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has given interim extension to K-electric license.
The soul distributor of electricity in Karachi, K-electric license has ended today. Neglecting masses pressure to cancel its licence, the NEPRA has allowed the company to work more for additonal six months.
Although, the final decision has not been taken yet but interim permission has been given by NEPRA to K-electric which has monopoly in distribution of electricity.
The whole of Karachiites have complaints against the company which included, load shedding, over billing, tariffs and score of others.
