Searchlight Pictures unveils a new trailer for David Bruckner’s Sundance horror hit The Night House, teasing the mind-bending haunted location.
The cast for the film is led by Godzilla vs. Kong star Rebecca Hall alongside Barry’s Sarah Goldberg, Nymphomaniac’s Stacy Martin, The Empty Man’s Evan Jonigkeit and Daredevil’s Vondie Curtis-Hall. Bruckner directs the film on a script from Super Dark Times duo Ben Collins and Luke Piotrowski.
The Night House centers on Hall’s Beth, a woman reeling from the unexpected death of her husband and left alone in the lakeside home he built for her who begins experiencing terrifying dreams.
As disturbing visions of a presence in the house call to her, she begins digging into her husband’s belongings yearning for answers, only to discover strange and terrifying secrets await her. The film first held its world premiere at the 2020 Sundance Film Festival to rave reviews and was swiftly acquired by Searchlight and after well over a year of waiting, the time for its arrival is nearly here.
