New Zealand opts to field first against Pakistan

WELLINGTON: In the fifth T20 match, New Zealand won the toss and decided to field first against Pakistan.

Both teams are competing in the final match of the series in Wellington, with New Zealand holding a 1-3 lead in the series.

New Zealand captain Michael Bracewell stated during the toss that, they aim to end the series with a victory.

On this occasion, national team captain Salman Agha mentioned that, five changes have been made to the team, and they are trying to give opportunities to new players.

He expressed the hope of securing a win in the match and subsequently winning the ODI series.

Fast bowlers Shaheen Shah Afridi, Abrar Ahmed, Irfan Khan Niazi, Khushdil Shah, and Abbas Afridi have been dropped from the team. Meanwhile, Aamir Bin Yousuf, Usman Khan, Jahandad Khan, Sufyan Muqeet, and Muhammad Ali have been included in the national team.
