Auckland: Two vital players of New Zealand dropped from the team for T-20 series against Pakistan owing to injuries.
The kivis Finn Allen and Adam Milne are ousted from the team due to the their injuries.Fin Allen and Adam Milne were injured during training session.
Allen developed back pain while Adam suffered from knee injury and will not be available for the five-match T-20 series against Pakistan.
A wicket keeper-batter Tom Blundell and all-rounder Zak Foulkes have replaced the injured duo.
Zak Foulkes has become part of the team for the first time whereas Tom Blundell had also visited Pakistan last year.
On the injuries of the two players the Kivis coach Gary Stead said that before departure injury of two players are unfortunate as both have been remained good performer in T-20’s since last world cup.
It is pertinent to mention here New Zealand nine also players are not including in the announced team for Pakistan owing to playing Indian Premier League (IPL).
The Kivi team will arrive in Pakistan on April 14, Sunday morning.
The team will play first T-20 match on April 18 in Pindi stadium.
Moreover, Rawalpindi will host three matches out of five while Lahore will host remaining two matches.
