New Zealand win 4th T-20 against Pakistan by 4 runs after thrilling match

Lahore: The guest New Zealand got second consecutive victory in the 4th T-20 by four runs after thrilling match between two sides taking lead in the series by 2-1.

The kivis have given target of 179 runs to Pakistan after losing 7 wickets while chasing the target Pakistani team could make four runs short of the target, 174.

Tom Robbinson made first century of his T-20 career while Dean Foxcroft, 34, Tom Blunddel, 28 and Michael Bracewell 27 were prominent batters from Kivis side.

From Pakistan side Abbass Afridi was phenomenal as he took three wickets whereas Muhammad Amir, Osama Mir, Zaman Khan and Ifthakhar Ahmed got one wicket each.

Earlier Pakistani skipper Baber Azam had won the toss decided to field first saying that there is dew factor in Lahore.

Fakhar Zaman played superbly well scoring 61 runs with a strike rate of 135. While Sayim Ayub, 20, Iftakhar Ahmed 23, Imad Waseem 22 had their shares in Pakistan total of 174 runs.

William O’Rourke was crucial for the guest side taking three wickets. Whereas Ben Sears took two wickets.

Moreover, Michael Bracewell, James Neesham got one wicket each.

The fifth and last match of the series will be played at the same venue on Saturday.
