Near the Karachi Press Club, a rally organized by Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) for the protection of the sanctity of the Prophet’s name turned violent on March 1. Activist Muhammad Majid Aziz from TLP’s West District was shot dead by Rangers during the confrontation.
The area became a battleground as TLP workers faced shelling, resulting in multiple injuries among the activists. TLP leadership has condemned the incident and called for justice for their fallen member.
