YAZD: Iranian authorities have confirmed that nine security personnel lost their lives in an Israeli assault targeting two military installations in Yazd, located in the central region of the country.
Details released on Sunday indicate that the casualties consisted of seven members of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and two regular military personnel.In response to recent developments, Iran has urged the United Nations Security Council to hold an urgent session. This comes after US airstrikes reportedly targeted Iranian nuclear facilities. Iran’s UN representative, Saeed Iravani, submitted a formal letter condemning the American attacks, describing them as unjustified acts of aggression.
Iravani emphasized that the facilities in question are under ongoing scrutiny by the International Atomic Energy Agency and are fully compliant with international agreements, including the Safeguards Agreement and the Non-Proliferation Treaty.
