LAHORE: Nine new additional judges who were appointed to the Lahore High Court have taken oath of office.
Chief Justice Lahore High Court Justice Miss Alia Neelam took oath from Additional Judges, a simple and inaugural ceremony of the oath -taking ceremony was held in the central Sabzazar of the Lahore High Court, Registrar Lahore High Court Abher Gul Khan performed the duties of the function.
Senior Judge Justice Shujaat Ali Khan, Justice Ali Baqir Najafi was present at the ceremony, Lahore High Court officials also attended.
Justice Hassan Nawaz Makhdoom, Justice Malik Waqar Haider Awan, Justice Sardar Akbar Ali, Justice Syed Ahsan Raza Kazmi, Justice Malik Javed Iqbal Venus and Justice Muhammad Jawad Zafar took oath, Justice Khalid Ishaq, Justice Malik Muhammad Owais Khalid, Justice Chaudhry Khalid and Sultan Mahmood is also among the oaths.
Friends and family members of the judges who took oath, including provincial and federal law officers and senior lawyers, were also present at the oath taking ceremony.
