Lahore (July 3, 2017): An important meeting between Interior Minister Chaudhary Nisar and Chief Minister Punjab was held in Modal Town, Lahore. The issues related to Joint Investigation Team (JIT) proceedings and internal security were came under discussion.
Talking on the occasion, CM Punjab Shahbaz Sharif said that PML-N have always respected institutions and judiciary and will emerge as an innocent after completion of JIT proceedings.
On June 17, Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan called on Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif here at Punjab House ahead CM Punjab appearance before JIT.
During the meeting the minister and Shahbaz Sahirf discussed issues relating to his (Shahbaz) appearance before the JIT.
Sources said that during the meeting strategy regarding appearance before the team and expected questions were discussed.
