ISLAMABAD: Organization of Islamic Countries General Secretary met Interior Minister Chaudhary Nisar, during which both sides exchanged views in detail regarding blasphemous content available on internet.
Interior minister Chaudhary Nisar urged the OIC to compile effective strategy regarding prevention of publishing blasphemous content. He said that there is a need for collective efforts for the effective and lasting resolve of the issue. He said that Pakistan has raised the matter with several international internet companies, as it is not just the matter of Pakistan, but of 1.6 billion Muslims of the world.
Interior Minister also met named diplomat for Saudi Arabia Vice Admiral (R) Khan Hasham Bin Siddiq, during which Interior Minister told the Saudi diplomat that Pakistan and Saudi Arabia has brotherly relations.
