No any Muslim can use words of truthful, honest for one self except for Prophet Muhammad (PBUH): CJ

Islamabad: Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa on Tuesday hearing the lifetime disqualification case remarked that Qauid Azam would have been declared disqualified on conditions of qualification for the elections.

The seven member larger bench headed by Chief Justice Qazi Faiz Isa comprising Justice Mansoor Ali Shah, Justice Muhammad Ali Mazhar, Justice Musarat Hilali, Justice Yahya Afridi, Justice Aminuddin Khan, Justice Jamal Khan.

Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa claimed that no any Muslim can use words of truthful and honest for oneself except for Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

The CJ said that there is no limit mentioned in the constitution article number 62, this is only given a court.

Justice Mansoor questioned “If a person got punished once why did the matter not settle?” adding that how it can be happen that someone after fullfiling his\her punishment can’t contest elections.

He said that there is a time limit of punishment then how disqualification can be of lifetime?
Attorney General Mansoor Usman Awan said that Nawaz Sharif disqualification verdict should be reviewed.
